From an entrepreneur point of view - Do's and don'ts in website development process

As a website professional several years ago working for 10 years in India now I am a writer, a group of website designers and developers working with me, I’ve dealt with quite a few entrepreneurs who are planning and wants to build a website for his or her e-commerce online and offline business, local area politician and few national levels, news channel and newspapers, recreation group in India or Outside India, Personal Identity, state-level sportsperson like Baseball, Volleyball, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Shooting, and many more.

Nearly all of them are, naturally, impractical about how the process of website development works and how many points in time and effort they will have to put into it. Most people who are not a part of the Website Development Process / IT / Information Technology feel that website design and development is fun, creative processes, or just the same as a walk in a park, but this time park is like Jurassic Park. But they cannot be beyond the truth normally.

Increase sales by Ecommerce websites for your business! Amazing ways in November 2023 digital marketing can help your business For Ecommerce websites - Good tips for online advertising Email marketing, part of digital marketing, is good for business Steps for an effective Ecommerce website

While creativity and fun are a part of developing websites, hard work, logic, analysis, web designing, testing like all know software testing website is the very important and crucial part and planning as we are more important and that is pervasive in nature in all organizations and business unit. Are you an entrepreneur or Website Development Company’s entrepreneur, in the process of developing a website for your business? Later, I will write down a simple list of dos and don’ts that will make your life simpler.

These are the main things we should take care of it.

1. FUTURE

2. REQUIREMENT FROM WEBSITE OR FROM APP

3. OPINIONS

4. DON’T HURRY

5. KINDLY, NO STATEMENTS PLEASE

1) Find out how extended it will be in the future

Maybe, you have hired a website development company, and they tell you that it would take two weeks to develop your business website or web application responsively! After two weeks, only half of the website work is completed (because you were unable to supply information/documents or resources to the developer!) This is terrible, and your schedule will go unwillingly beyond limits. If you have hired a website development company, make them promise that they have a track record of delivering on time as it affects your business. If delayed.

2) Clearly know what you desire about the website or web app you want

Please write down those points on a piece of paper. Research before you push into the process. Make a list of websites that you like, tell the website developer why you like them all, and you need a website or why you require a website or web presence WHY? WHY WEB PRESENCE IS REQUIRED NOW AND WHAT THINGS YOU NEED TO WANT TO BE DONE. Clearly write down requirements, your expectations from your website, and its online presence or web-app or mobile phone app to do for you. Clearly explain to your website developers and designers what effect you want to create a website through your website.

Never be indecisive in result-oriented and positive discussions with your website company entrepreneur and their developers directly or with your business top-level management person. The effective, right, and economical process is identified after discussion.

3) Be ready for discussion related to website with them whenever required and how online presence increases because without good website promotion, the website is of no use even if it was good and website development repetition which usually happens in almost all cases

If you are the person in your business unit or company, you will realize that there are many conflicts of belief between you and other members of your company about how the website promotion will go on, how the website should look to clients and responsive (should look on mobile phones and other devices) also and its function. Be ready to discuss issues and know that sometimes you won’t be able to arrive at an agreement on the table. Make one person responsible for the website project issues, the website looks and let her take the final decision.

Keep away you (website owners) from at all costs, please take care of it!

4) Don’t try to rush through it

Many businessmen are tending to start with a lot of hoaxes but lose interest after some time and want to just be done with it, anyhow, but this is not possible. If you research properly and get the right person at the right time for the right purpose with the right skill they have for the job, such a situation will not arise. But things may drag on and this can cause frustration to us for several reasons all the time, which in turn may hurt the effectiveness of your website. As people are unaware about your business due to below standard website promotion even if your website looks good.

Important

5) Don’t build statements, or construct on half-truth give all information clearly and precisely to the designers in black and white literally with paper and pencil which you think right to give to Website Development Company

For example, if you are a publication company like newspapers etc., and want all the content on the website to be perfect in terms of spelling, fuzzy meaning words or double meaning words used, grammar, and punctuation, you will need to give the script/content to the developers. They will simply paste it to the web page of your website. There are numerous places on a website (headers, search buttons, different website places banners, navigation menus primary or footer, footer, etc.) where web developers simply fill out the data and information themselves after your approval. Give them flawless instructions to ensure perfection.

Don’t negotiate on quality for cheap to run rates. Getting a good business is never a bad idea all the time everywhere on this planet but remember that if you throw bananas, you get monkeys. Obtain a talented website development company that has decent designers and developers.

They may charge a little more money usually once but will help you build a quality website or web apps or mobile app. And you will save a lot of running hours – expert professionals put effort faster with minimum repetitions which save time required in it and everybody knows well time is money.

TIME == MONEY. (DIRECTLY PROPORTIONAL).
